My current car is a 2002 Subaru Impreza WRX STI UK (Prodrive version).
As is common in the Impreza world, I've got the "modify" bug, and so am gradually altering bits of the car as and when I've got a bit of spare cash. Here's what I've done so far...
- Fitted the offical Subaru STI mudflaps to the front of the car.
- Fitted a Scoobysport exhaust silencer. This doesn't really give much in terms of bhp, but it really make the car sound much nicer.
- Had a set of really nice Defi gauges fitted by Nito at Nitosport.
- Replaced the terrible factory fitted radio with a really nice Pioneer unit
- Replaced the front in-door speakers with some by Infinity. They sound soooo much better than the carboard originals.
- Fitted a Prodrive gear knob.
- Fitted some carbon side reflectors. These look much better than the horrible bright orange ones that came with the car from new.
- 18" Speedline Turini wheels
- Goodridge braided brake hoses
- Ferodo DS2500 brake pads
- Prodrive spring lowering kit
Next on the list is a performance pack of some kind (just deciding which one to
go for, but the TSL 333bhp package is looking likely). I need to save a bit of money first though, these things aint cheap....... :-)
